Have you ever thought about creating a calm down corner for your children to go to when they are angry, sad, frustrated or just need some quiet time to calm down? My girls are a little bit older now [6, 9] but I still absolutely love having a little space in our house for them to go-to when they are experiencing different feelings or emotions. I currently have our little calming corner inside our entertainment center. THE FIRST THING I ADDED WAS A VISUALLY cute-little emotions canvas! Marvel has joined the Monster Jam Trucks! • The Amazing Spider Man (Camden Murphy) • Iron Man (Brandon Arthur) • Thor (Jamie Sullivan) • Black Panther (Bari Musawwir) …set onto the track on October 5, 2024 at the incredible State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona for the very first time! And what a spectacular experience it was! ……………. There is something just so spectacular and enjoyable about watching custom built, 12,000 pounds, 10.5 feet tall, and 17 feet long MONSTER trucks competing on a dirt track. I have always had very little interest in vehicles, cars, motors etc…but gosh I absolutely LOVE my monster trucks!!! 😊 We also had two women competing at this event (Thor & Sparkle Smash)...

Another year and another event of excitement for our little music loving rockstars! My Chemical Romance opened up their North American Tour and it was absolutely unforgettable.
The Kia Forum in Los Angeles (day 1) ended up being the very first EVER arena concert for all three of the kids! Cameron was in disbelief, the arena was beautiful, large, and breathtaking. Lila was quiet and excited, and Taylor was the youngest and most excited fan at the Forum, but she ended up sleeping through the last half of the show.
They loved every second of it.

We had the privilege to visit one of my all time favorite southern California locations...and we couldn't have been more thrilled! Santa Monica, you did not disappoint. It has always been a dream of mine to visit the Santa Monica pier, specifically the tide pool [we did not get enough time to do that...maybe some time in the future we will] but the time we did spend at the pier and beach was amazing! First Rainy Day of the Year!
It is nearing the end of May here in Colorado, and we are crossing our fingers that it's the end of our snowy season! Don't get me wrong, we LIKE the snow...once in a while (my kids like it more than I) but warm weather is everything to us.
