4 Ingredient Hot Cocoa Mix Recipe
This recipe is super east to make! Just add 1/4 cup to a cup of hot water when you are ready to use. It's a perfect mix to take on a camping trip...after sledding, or simply sitting cozy next to a fire.
I always LOVE finding ways to make regular bought store pantry items from home, all around it is so much healthier! Most of the time tastes much better also.
I am almost certain most people have a hot cocoa packet lying somewhere around their kitchen or pantry! Super convenient - but not always the healthiest pantry item.
For reference, here's the ingredients from the Swiss Miss brand just-add-water hot cocoa:
sugar, modified whey, cocoa (processed with alkali), hydrogenated coconut oil, nonfat milk, calcium carbonate, less than 2% of: salt, dipotassium phosphate, mono- and diglyderides, artificial flavor, carrageenan.
This easy 4 ingredient cocoa mix is close to any package of hot cocoa mix, plus you'll feel much better serving a healthier version to your kids and family!
